It is backed 100% by cash and short-term U.S. Treasuries, with most reserves held in the Circle Reserve Fund (USDXX), managed by BlackRock. Daily third-party reports on fund holdings are publicly available. In March 2021, Visa announced USDC support for settling transactions on its network. USDC is natively supported across 16 blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Polygon PoS, and others.
