In HTX’s announcement dated 31 May 2022, we have announced restrictions on our platforms for Spain-based users in order for HTX to comply with the regulations of Spain.
We would like to provide the further updates below:
Spain-based users would have noticed that we have implemented pop-ups on our platform (both Web and Mobile) when Spain-based users access the pages of Restricted Products.
Restricted Products for Spain-based users are:
(i) Margin Trading; (ii) Coin-Margined Futures; (iii) Coin-Margined Swaps; (iv) USDT-Margined Contracts; (v) Options; (vi) Dual Investment; and (vii) ETP.
If you are resident in Spain and you have holdings or open positions in any of the Restricted Products please note that:
- Our customer service teams will reach out to you to provide further details prior to August 31, 2022.
- Orderly winding down for specific Restricted Products may occur in stages, with the first stage commencing prior to 2:00 (UTC) on August 31, 2022.
- You should refer to such communication and product-specific announcements from HTX for the latest information.
- Users resident in Spain who have holdings or open positions in Restricted Products are advised to close your positions as soon as possible, and pay close attention to our specific communications to you.
HTX will give our Spain-based users timely updates in respect of any additional relevant information or changes to the above.
